If you study philosophy you learn interesting philosophical perspectives on life. One of them is that in life, the practice IS the game and the rehearsal to life IS life itself; you only have one shot at it.
Life doesn't really, truly begin until you die. This life is simply an audition for what role you're gonna play. The thing is, is that there are only two parts to audition for: heaven or hell. What you do now affects you for the rest of your life; for rest of eternity.
The amazing part in the whole thing is that you don't have to be the best actor to get the best part. You don't have to compete with anyone else to get it either. There are multiple roles to be cast; the more the better. All you have to do is genuinely try and do your best and believe and you will get the part. That's pretty amazing to me!
